Birthdays

My cute little Paigers isn't so little anymore. She just turned 6 on Sunday. She wanted to have a Princess party. ( Sorry nephews she made her own princess list and princes were not on there)
She has also been watching an old video I had about dinosaurs. It is The Land Before Time. So she wanted to go and see the long necks, three horns, big mouths, fliers, and spike tales. So Doug and I took her and the other princesses to the dinosaur park and let them run around for a bit. It was a good day. Doug had a good day too, he didn't have any seizures and he didn't feel too bad.

Monday was Doug's birthday. I made him Curry and we watched movies. The icing on the cake was that I let him drive to the store and back. Yay!

They both had good days and really enjoyed themselves.

Maybe this time

Well Doug has been at the U of U hospital since Friday. He is so bored. He is there so the Drs can find out were his seizures are coming from. So far he hasn't had a big enough seizure that can pin point anything.

Funny

Ok! So the other day I was calling Paige to come in from outside and she comes to the door and informs me that she will not come to Paige anymore she is Miss Schiffman and she will only come when she is called by that name. Doug and I laughed so hard. She kept to her word tho (well for about 2 days).
We have not seen Maddie for a couple of weeks because she had a really severe sinus infection when it was our weekend and was not feeling well at all. We get to see her on Sunday and we are all really excited.
Doug is doing ok. He is going to the U of U for a 3 - 7 day study to figure out what the seizures are doing to him and what medications if any can help. He has been off of the antibiotics for 5 days and already his ear is red and his head is hurting. Poor thing! We are hoping that the U can come up with some answers for us.
Me? I am fine and plugging along.
